Privacy & cookies
TOthemovies runs no advertising and sets no cookies of its own. It keeps only a
small amount of first-party, cookieless analytics, and nothing here identifies you or follows
you across other sites. Here's the full picture of what's stored or loaded:
Browser storage. We store small preference flags, such as whether you have
acknowledged this notice, so they persist between visits.
Trailers. Trailers are embedded from YouTube in privacy-enhanced mode
(youtube-nocookie.com), so nothing loads until you open a film. When a
trailer plays, YouTube/Google may set their own cookies — see
Google's privacy policy.
Images. Film posters are served by TheTVDB (thetvdb.com); like any image,
your IP address is visible to them.
Analytics. Some anonymous usage data is collected to inform future updates.
Email alerts (optional). If you ask to be notified about a film, we store just your
email address and that film title, to send the reminder emails — nothing else, no account.
Email is delivered via Resend.
Every alert email has a one-click cancel that deletes your address; we never share or sell it.
Nothing here is used to identify or track you across sites.
